Description

SN100ECO – SnCu 0.7Ni0.05Ge is a lead-free, silver-free and
nickel-stabilized eutectic tin-copper alloy, formulated with the highest quality raw materials. The composition of this solder complies with ISO 9453: 2014 (alloy 403) and the RoHS directive. This makes our SN100ECO alloy suitable for different processes including: Wave, selective and dip soldering. Insertion and rework of components for surface mount technology for the electronic component assembly industry. The addition of nickel in small amounts gives the eutectic tin-copper wetting and fluidity, properties that allow to obtain excellent results in wave soldering at process temperatures comparable to those used with tin-lead. The SN100ECO enables reliable, profitable and high productivity welding processes. The addition of germanium in extremely controlled small amounts (0.0050% – 0.0070), combined with the beneficial effect of Ni on flowability, provides the ability to solder without bridging even with 100 0.5mm pitch QFP pins . Furthermore, the wetting properties of the alloy are remarkably improved and slag production is remarkably reduced.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                 Formats: n Round rods of 6×400 mm. n 4x9x400 mm square rods. n 12x24x400 mm rectangular rods.
