Liquid flux
for brazing highly heat resistant alloys such as brass, bronze and stainless
steel, according to UNE-EN 1045: 1997 FLUIDIX 1M is a liquid flux for brazing
with low solids content, exhibiting excellent capillary activity for work
with alloys in tight joints. This flux exhibits strong sweeping action on
most metal oxides, removing oxides, scale, and other impurities to result in
tightly welded joints. FLUIDIX 1M is active in the temperature range of 700 –
1100ºC. It can be used to braze brass, copper, steel, stainless steel,
malleable iron, and heat resistant alloys. FLUIDIX 1M liquid flux promotes
deep filler metal penetration into joints, resulting in a strong and stable
metallic bond. This flux quickly dissolves and removes the oxides present,
with minimal bubbling, keeping the joint joints free of impurities and free
of porosity.
